Falling In Love

May 31, 2018

Life was beautiful
There I was,
only the city and I
On my bike I rode,
with the
whole
wide
world,
glowing right before my eyes
Like the sherbet ice cream that I sucked off my fingers as a little girl,
I took all of it in
I devoured it with everything that
I
am
Everything,
every
single
bit
of it
I was flying, finally flying
And I was swaying
in my youth
Swaying,
in my beauty
And I was singing,
singing,
singing
And the crooked street signs were dancing,
moving, bouncing
Spray painted on
their faces
and on
their bodies
were
colored letters,
speaking in a language
only some could understand
My name was being called
The colors, they screamed
my
name
And so I went over
and touched them
And from my touch, the letters grew wet
The letters were dripping
color
The letters were dripping
love
Dripping for
me
And they whispered in my ear,
their words caressing my soul,
“Let it drip”
I spread it all over my body
I spread this love,
I let it
drip
onto my skin and
I wasn't even afraid of falling
Because I belonged
And the wind was kissing me,
making sweet love to my sweet skin,
while the smooth and sexy rhythms of
songs I knew all too well
teased my ears
And that,
maybe everything all at once--only God knows,
is what made my heart fall
so hard,
and so
passionately
for this life
and for this moment, here and now
in this city

With shortness of breath, I'll explain the infinite- how rare and beautiful it is that we exist
By sleeping at last

All I can say is that this is truly beautiful!
