Dear past,

Yesterday you were today but you are now forgotten

Each day is a fresh start, a clean slate,

and each day,

you can be a new you.

Yesterday’s misfortunes,

are today’s jests,

and tomorrow,

You must just hope for the best.

Do not dwell on old news,

For everything until now is irrelevant, futile.

Yesterday’s orange shall be today’s blue,

Yesterday’s troubles, you shall not rue.

This poem is about fresh starts and ceasing every day like it’s your first and last.
