Blasted schoolwork is

Always keeping me at bay

I hate this homework

The author's comments:

This haiku was inspired by working on some homework that I really didn't want to do. I just wanted to write but instead, I had to do my homework.

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display

And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]
