I created this piece in my poetry class on my first day. I was told that a haiku was about life, or something related to life. It could be based on my view of life, and as a student in high school wondering where time went, I made this. A child who finally realized that he would be growing up very soon grew up very quickly after the realization. Much like most high schoolers.
