a bridge at twilight
it's beautiful... and lonely
snow begins to fall

paint you a picture
close your eyes and see my words
breathe in... breathe out... breathe

she stands in the cold
she's beautiful... and lonely
flakes fall... slow, silent

can you see her there?
painted picture, made of words
shall i speak you there?

join her in the cold
stand on the bridge at twilight
feel warmth in her smile

written quite a few years ago, maybe '03-'04.
people should not go through life alone. whether it's the family you were born into, the family you create, dear friends, God, there should be someone you can share the warmth of your soul with.

I've read some of your work as well, and I like what you have. Let's both of us keep at it, eh?
