You are there for me,
leaves we play in, snow we throw
anywhere we go.

This is my first Haiku. It represents friendship throughout the seasons and they years, that a true bond never breaks, and that you are always there to love and help each other.

We count the broken lyres that rest
Where the sweet wailing singers slumber.

This haiku is very sweet - I like the indirect analogy you used by the passing of the seasons (through the leaves and the snow) to the passing of time and how this friendship lasts beyond that. While reading this poem, I felt a warmth arouse within me . Very good job on this one!
