As I re-read this haiku, I grow rather fond of it. Doesn't the sapling know how wonderful it will be to grow into a beautiful tree? I suppose it will find out. I give it my blessing.

As for the stream, it has little to fear.

I am not nesscarily terrfied growing up but I don't feel grown-up. I still feel like a child.
