Feelings of regret
Pulsing through a guilty mind
Screaming in the night
But you make it stop
You, my guardian angel,
make me feel alright
Chase off the demons
Bring me to a peaceful state
where I can feel safe
It's not forever -
a temporary escape
Soon I will return
But you keep me here
as long as it's possible,
keeping away the pain
For now, I have peace
I have found it in you, my
guardian angel
