Victim of man’s rape,
nature is sobbing again;
fresh dew on the ground.


The author's comments:
Usually when a plant is moist and fresh after a shower of rain, its thirst is quenched and it looks like it's crying tears of joy. So I thought this would be a different angle to write from.

Harsh, painful, and full of emotion. Haikus are supposed to do that, convey emotion, you know.
