From within the clasp of earth

I definitely like the theme; a flower blooming from "the clasp of earth" is astonishing, because life--along with all the processes which make it possible--is so incredibly bold. Life is success and beauty in spite of that which would encumber it. There's so much to say about this subject...and so it is very difficult to wrap it all up into a short haiku. Regardless, well done!

This is a model haiku, with a central nature-metaphor, and a shift before the last line. I love the "clasp of earth," and the image of "us" watching the flower. That being said, without a larger concept, this image is a littl e simple and unremarkable. Altogether, though, great job.
