The author's comments:
Last year in English class, we were assigned the task of writing our own haikus. They could be about anything and each of us had to write three. The next day I was chosen to read mine out loud in class. My teacher was speechless. She stopped me after class and asked me what it was about and I explained to her how You never know when your going to lose someone and that it could happen to you too. I told her that it's the little things we always hold onto.
