I am addicted
To the feel of paper and
The dark smell of ink.

The author's comments:
I think many people, especially on Teenink can relate to the feeling of being addicted to books. I accumulate books of every genre with an alarming pace and read them even faster. If I go a day without getting my "fix" I begin to go through book withdrawal. Books are my escape and my pleasure. I love them.

Really? I have to read Gone Girl; On the Road; The Giver; Ender's Game; The Road; Will Grayson, Will Grayson; a couple of books on Jack Keroauc; Books of Blues. I just finished The Casual Vacancy, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Looking for Alaska, Boy Meets Boy, and Dishes (whatever you do don't read Dishes; waste of time; I regret reading that book.) How about you?

I could TOTALLY relate to this!!! n lol i wrote a free verse about book withdrawal too :D waiting for the approval!! Just bought four new novels yesterday :D books are like drugs!! actually, even better!!

AMEN!!! I'm so addicted to books. It's starting to become an unhealthy hoarding obsession. I have like 12 or so novels I borrowed from the library that I have to read.
