The Loss

Funny how the death of a friend makes us sad,
While everyone dies every day
One why or another we all die
But when we do there is a loss
Everyone dies every day
While you are reading this someone died
It may be someone famous
Or someone less we never know
Once someone dies we all weep
It is not a happy day for us
Everyone walks dressed in black
Going to the body that won't come back
We have our words and then its time
We release them into the now dug grave
We cry once more then say our goodbye’s
But we will join the one day.
