I was originally inspired to create this by the movie, "The Lorax". I had just re-watched it with my friends and realized the truth of the threat of deforestation. With this haiku, I hope to get across the idea that the trees were here long before us, and hopefully will be here long after we leave. Trees are such an important resource, we can't just destroy them. Go out there, plant a tree, and help the world!
