If you haven't failed yet, you're not trying hard enough!

Vividly in my head, remembering like it was yesterday.

Only getting brighter by the day.

Like a broken record, but in my head.

Light shining through a window

the sound of feet moving down the stairs

something missing, death floating in the air

cutting internally never disappearing

how mans best friend left his man

leaving just a bed.

The remnants of something dear to me

now turning into pain. Memories,

not truly the master behind the strings

but time is only to blame.

Time destroying me mentally

and everything around me,

destroying anything dear to me

killing me internally, my mortal enemy,

always moving never stopping for anything

Like a massive train going right for me, time

destroying not just me but my dreams

ending mans best friend. Hurting the man

cutting it down would do no good.

The pain never goes away

the thing I truly hate, responsible for my pain

TIME!

This piece is an outlet for me to talk about the death of my dog through a type of art.
