WE WANT IT STOPPED
We shed tears for both Palestinians and the Jewish,
Say who cares about the winner amidst the wounded, bleeding flesh
To whom shall we express? For where helpers have gone?
Of no one we can trust, for no deed we have done.
Peacefully, holding hands together joyfully is my only wish.

The limerick expressed my deep desire to stop the suffering in Israel and the Gaza Strip. I'm deeply unsatisfied with the current international aid and intervention in this humanitarian crisis. We have done far from enough to help stop the war! Women are crying about the fate that happened to their newborn babies, innocent children are crying over the loss of their siblings, and the elderly are wetting their beards for the death of their sons. I don't care which side wins in the battle, and, in fact, I don't think there is a winner when lives from both sides are crying and dying. Their lives are brutally put on fire by the devil. I hide the word 'STOP' in the last four lines, and I really hope those politicians can see it.
