Moving On
Driving around
This old broken town
Blurry visions of me and you behind the tears
Thinking about what happened to all those years
I promised you and you promised me
That forever is what we would be
Forever has faded fast
Now all that’s left are memories of the past
I look at your picture and the glass shatters
You were the only thing that ever mattered
I think of all the lonely nights I will spend
While visions of you consume the thoughts in my head
I keep on driving
Thinking of a better way to keep surviving
All this time has passed me by
And I continue to cry
I can’t help but wonder what you’re feeling
Or if you’re healing
Most likely your gone
Or even worse you’ve moved on
