FIrst Love
June 9th is the date
The night you walked away
Standing on the porch
To watch your body go a stray
The moment of fear
While the tears drip cold
My heart would stop beating
With no hand to hold
As the months pass by
The clock ticks slow
The worries within
Begin to grow
I remember it all
From start to end
All the good times together
As lover and friend
Wishing it all back
Just like before
Dancing in the rain
And knocks at my door
I have to stop the changes
Go back to the past
Why did you leave?
Why can’t we last?
We are two different people
This I know now
We have to go our own ways
And this is how
I will remember you always
As the first love I had
Many good times together
No reason to be sad
