"Excuse me, my foot was possessed by a ninja."

There once was a Lady in White
Who traveled through the night
In search of none other
Than the heart of her lover
For he had taken flight

She searched for years and years
While wiping up her tears
She loved him so
She couldn’t let go
Despite all of her fears

She worried he loved her no more
Had found her quite a bore
And had left for a girl
Who could make his heart twirl
While the Lady was pained to the core

Though these were mere speculations
And despite all her frustrations
She would not know
Why he wanted to go
Before finding his current location

And so she continued her pursuit
While her sadness, time did dilute
Though her love remained strong
She would not hold for long
As her quest was still without fruit

However she pushed on in spite
Of her desire to at last alight
So if your efforts seem small
You need simply recall
The story of the Lady in White

This is really nice.

I've read a lot of short limericks today but i think it takes pure skills to come up with something long and meaningful like this.

Good Job
