In memory of wasted youth...
Of sugarcoated pink half-truths,
When every problem daisy chain,
Was smiled at quick and wished away.
When I was blind enough to stand,
Those oily words and reaching hands.
Until reality reared its head,
And left ignorance strung up dead.
Repulsive childhood memories,
Are always recalled bitterly.
Locked away for none to find,
Now that I've grown and found my mind.
