Even when things are as tough as can be,
You can always count on me.
Whenever you are sad or alone.
I wouldn’t hesitate to answer the phone.
I know you’re hurting, and that’s alright.
You don’t always have to fight.
I would understand if you were to cry.
I know you say that it’s all okay.
I can see the pain behind that lie.
You don’t always have to be so strong.
But I have been here all along.
I won’t abandon you.
I won’t run away.
I can see that you’re starting to fray.
It’s okay to say that you’re not okay.
I will love you anyways.
