The moon is rising, the stars are shinning,
What will happen next isn’t surprising.
She closes her eyes, feeling the midnight air,
It will happen soon, without much time to spare.
She steps into the forest, the moon highlighting her naked skin,
She opens her eyes as the world starts to spin.
She falls to her knees, hitting the ground,
Sweat drips from her face as her heart pounds.
Her nails grow longer, so do her teeth,
Fur sprouts from her skin, from her face to her feet.
Her ears lengthen, and out comes a tail,
The snapping of her bones and joints can’t be heard over her wail.
The pitch of her screams change as it becomes a howl,
She runs through the trees and bushes, on the prowl.
You better hope she gets what she needs,
Or she’ll tear out your guts and laugh while you bleed.
