Doors
I walked down a street with 100 doors
 there was a blue one a pink one and many more
 some, from behind I could hear faint whispers
 there was one if I touched it I’d get lots of wood splinters
 one had to be taller than me
 which is saying a lot, cause I’m six foot three
 the door that caught my eye was very lacking in size
 but I felt as if it was watching me with all those painted on eyes
 then I found it, the perfect door for me
 a door with a handle so small it’s hard to see
 and faded and chipped away paint that was red
 but when I opened it up inside was my bed
 and the book that I had just finished and read
