Gift of life
Everyone has these expectations for reality
  perfect, glorious and easy.
What they don’t comprehend is the disasters
  life can bring.
  The troubles of poverty,
  lack of employment,
the roaring of protesters about “All lives matter,”
the hopes of storms to fill these droughts that have came before us.
We all have troubles we face everyday.
  Everyone has things they crave,
  things they long for,
  dreams they wish to pursue,
  passions they want uphold
But fail to see the wonderful thing that they already have
life.
Seeing trees sway in the midst of spring,
the light that is Cased by the moon at night,
the whisper of the leaves as they hit the ground early fall.
The small things earth has and what is given to you
  is more extraordinary
than what people believe it to be.
