“Wait a moment!”

I shout just to be met with dissapointment.

Time trickles down quickly

And now you are departing to be memory.

All those days that we both spent together

Will vanish forever.

But still with my

Heart pounding

Tears running

Throat drying

I bid “Goodbye”.

365 days worth of memory that you gave me

I would always treasure

For I swear

You will by my family

For eternity.

When I was alone

And acting solus from dusk till dawn

When I was hurt

And all I could do was aimlessly cut

When I was tired

And went numb leaving emotions undesired

You were there

By my side when nobody did care.

Thus still with my

Lungs screaming

Vision blurring

Legs crumbling

I say “Goodbye”.

365 days worth of memory that you gave me

I would always treasure

For I swear

You will by my family

For eternity.

I wrote it as the last poem in my 1st collection of poem and as my first attempt in song writing (did a very bad job in that). Anyways, hope you all liked it and please share your interpretations of this.
