Anti-Microbial

RESISTANCE

AMR AMR*2

R stands for

The resistance they have formed against ABX

ABX ABX*2

which is our antibiotic

That protects us

from these things that make us feel ill

AMR  AMR *2

Known as AMR AMR

We are the defenders of Antibiotics

That saves us from fever,

nausea and other feels.

Antibiotics

If there is anything I could do for me

Stopping AMR, it has to be

Bacteria, They make us feel ill….

Ends up with huge paperwork, and bill

No, it’s bills

Ahh…. oh right…

That pills

They are so skeptical about ABX

Because they have mutated fun

Amongst offsprings

Oh god!

Bacteria, They make us feel ill

Ends up with huge paperwork, and bill

Rap

Naughty, Mischievous, and Indecent to handle

Ends up Causing tons of blunder wanting to be strangled.

They no longer wear the same gene which is

out of fashion,

They have bought a new one branded, filled

with new passion

Now that they are no longer affected,

They think they are the

mighty king*3

Sing

I have no clue what to do

That's when I saw a lot of things

Posted on Instagram

Linkedin, Spotify are the ones

Rap

Let's show them

who we are *3

Who is the real king, am I or you are

I wash my hand, wash my hand every now and then

Prior to my eat and post to excrete

Never dare to overuse the ABX,

Neither do I stop my course

in bet-ween

Rap

I know the harsh consequences,

Of sharing a needle, injected somewhere else

Rather I eject that needle forever

With no nuisance

Oh no…

they are dead..

Great job our steps are followed well

Antibiotics are precious

The author's comments:

The song called "Antimicrobial Resistance: was a song that I composed for one of my health campaigns to create awareness about Antimicrobial Resistance. Through this campaign, my friend and I wanted to aware children of the importance of Antibiotics and why such exceptional and magical pills should be used wisely. Therefore, amongst all of the activities and sessions, we did one of the major roles was played by this song because a song's lyrics, rhythm, and beats allow listeners to deeply connect to it emotionally, bringing more empathy and understanding of the problem.
To conclude, I believe that through this song we would be able to connect to more youngsters and educate more learners about the irresponsible use of Antibiotics. Join us in the war against Super Bugs
