Moonlit Tears
Dark… and cold,
Winter, grows old
The young…and old,
Grow weary, of stories told.
I wonder, at what happens next.
As I stare at the supposedly blest.
A shadow of truth, comes into her eyes,
As she sees, I see right through her lies.
She begs forgive me, but it’s to late,
Her lies were her demise…
Tonight, the moonlight cries,
Cause yesterday my lover died.
They took her soul,
And her life,
And with it mine.
I ask, don’t mourn for me,
But I again my lover must see.
Don’t come this way,
No don’t follow me.
For tomorrow,
I enter a tomb of shadows
Loss… and pain
It drives me, insane
I… can’t take
Losing you, this way
I wander, this dark day
Look in their eyes and they’ll turn away
No one is, here too stay
They come and then they go away
They scream help me, but it’s too late
Their lies were their demise
Tonight, the moonlight cries,
Cause yesterday my lover died.
They took her soul,
And her life,
And with it mine.
I ask, don’t mourn for me,
But I again my lover must see.
Don’t come this way,
No don’t follow me.
For tomorrow,
I enter a tomb of shadows
Tonight, the moonlight cries,
Cause yesterday my lover died.
They took her soul,
And her life,
And with it mine.
I ask, don’t mourn for me,
But I again my lover must see.
Don’t come this way,
No don’t follow me.
For tomorrow,
I enter a tomb of shadows
Goodbye…
