And a heart on my sleeve
Who knows what's in store
Or what I will be

I have dreams for the future
and hopes for my life
I won't let nothing distract me
or be slowed down by strife

I'm through with this small life
I'm gone out the door
A voice in my heart says
I belong here no more

so should you need courage
to help in your journey
just remember my life
just remember my story

wow this is amazing!!!! ♥ i love it and i can totally connect with it cuz i live in a wicked small town (we dont even have sidewalks lol) and sometimes it just feels like im trapped and cant do what i want to do here. i looooovvvvvvvveeeeeeee it sooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!! just added to my favs ☺

Ok, so this poem is kind of AMAZING! The first time I read it, I was blown away, and its right after 3 of my poems, so I cannot help coming back and reading it again and again. Really, this is terrific work!!!
