Finding the Cure
November 29, 2009
My world is spinning
all out of place
so I plaster this
smile on my face
so no one can see
exactly how I feel
so no one can tell
that I can’t deal.
I can’t do this
can’t take it anymore,
I need to move on,
but I can’t find the cure.
I need to move on,
its such a stupid thing
I need to numb
this everlasting sting.
It happened so long
ago in the past
but I cannot help it
that feelings last.
I can’t do this
can’t take it anymore,
I need to move on,
but I can’t find the cure.
I need to just put it all
away, cauterize,
but it won’t last, and again
these feelings will arise.
Remembering is the worst,
and I get upset
and once again I realize,
I just can’t forget.
I can’t do this
can’t take it anymore,
I need to move on,
but I can’t find the cure.
