Victim
V1:
show me what you could be,
pull the needle from your veins,
and always stand beside me.
Take the lead to the other,
and soon that's not enough,
to satisfy the craving,
you've developed for this stuff.
It makes you do things,
like steal deceive and lie,
now the fun is over,
and and things start to go awry.
CHORUS:
as screams slip past my lips,
as tears roll down my cheeks,
blood on the tips of my fingers,
and the stabbing words you speak.
The rage in your eyes,
biting tone to your words,
not all understandable,
just a mess of slurs.
My head slammed against the wall,
the smell of liquor on your breath,
strong hands taken over by liquor,
mind taken over by meth.
V2:
your smile dosent reach my eyes any more,
a victim to abuse,
a victim to the pain,
closing my eyes,
cause i don't need to see the flame,.
I know what your doing,
i know what you've become,
and my arms that you are bruising,
never let me escape from.
this hell that i am living,
despite the love i'm giving,
these marks are reminders,
that i cant put up blinders,
and look past the everyday.
CHORUS
END.
