This room is quiet, the walls breathe softly.
It is filled with colors, but it feels bleak.
A boy, he waits, for a moment's visit
from her.

This room is stained, colors of the past.
Racks, canvas, and floor await a drip of life.
A boy, he waits, for a moment's visit
from her.

This room is dim, a 24-watt sunset.
The shadows cast an ominous audience.
A boy, he waits, for a moment's visit
for her

The room is vibrant, it's heart beats faster
the room breathes louder, the colors grow brighter.
A boy, he see's, for a moment's visit
just her.

Whenever I had art class, I would go into the supply closet across the hall. I made it look like I was looking for paint and other supplies, but I was really was just waiting to see this girl, just for a moment.
