The Zombie's Scorn
Oh here comes a pale white child in tight black clothing
He reminds you of the devil
He's so thin it scares you
But he is so alluring
And when he walks his bare feet tremble
And when he talks his dry throat groans
And then he stops his world is spinning
You see him and he scares you
But he is so alluring
You see a hole where his heart should be
You see sockets where his eyes should be
You see staples over his mouth you see
You see stitches over his skin you see
Maybe he's not quite dead you see
And he is so alluring
Oh here comes that skeleton child
With his pale white skin over his pulsing flesh
But his heart's still pure
Oh here comes that skeleton child
With his zombie scorn
You know he's dead yet he's still breathing
You know he's crying yet tears won't seep
You hear his muffled voice yet his lips don't speak
But can't you see
The way he reaches since he cannot scream
Since he can only bleed
You cannot see the thing he needs
Oh here comes that skeleton child
With his pale white skin over his pulsing flesh
But his heart's still pure
Oh here comes that skeleton child
With his zombie scorn
He tears those threads from his teeth
Now you can hear him speak
And you see him bleed
And when he talks there's a stutter in his voice
And when he cries those a mutter all around
And you cannot see the way
He burns internally
The boy is really quite dead for eternity
Oh here comes that skeleton child
With his pale white skin over his pulsing flesh
But his heart's still pure
Oh here comes that skeleton child
With his zombie scorn
Oh here comes that skeleton child
With his pale white skin over his pulsing flesh
But his heart's still pure
Oh here comes that skeleton child
With his zombie scorn
All he's got left
Is his zombie scorn
