Failing at something you expected to succeed at.

I wanted the win
All I had to do was tap the puck in
All my mental preparation to come up half an inch short
I let everyone down
Game over 2-1
My dreams of scoring the game tieing goal
I never thought about what would happen if I missed the game winning shot
I remember sitting on the bench with my head down disgusted
Next time the opportunity comes up I am going to pass it
Game over…
