"Prove them all wrong."

Mountains and angels
Cards on the table,
I can take you for granted,
It's true.

I pick up the deck
And I pull out a heart,
Fold it in half
And let your love start.

My heart goes to you,
A card, yeah, it's true
But hearts can stop beating,
And mine is alive
Forever with you.
So take this small key
And unlock a weak heart
Now finding strength within you.

Take me to Paris or take me back home,
Take me away;
I don't care as long as it's with you I roam.
I'm here in this car taking a breath,
Writing your name like without it I'm dead.
Scribbling words about roses and you,
Writing a verse that you'll ring up quite true

Baby,
My heart goes to you,
A card, yeah, it's true
But hearts can stop beating,
And mine is alive
Forever with you.
So take this small key
And unlock a weak heart
Now finding strength within you.

Deck in your hands, I smile, you laugh,
This isn't chance, there's fifty cards left.
So deck in your hands, you say nothing, and yet;
You drop all the cards, and reach to the side,
In your left pocket I watch as you find
A card that's a diamond and hand it to me.
Maybe it's a dream or maybe it's you that I see.

Because mountains are rising
As angels surprise me,
The cards are now scattered
Except one for me, and one for you,
Take this small key and promise it's true,
Take it from me, I promise it's true.

My heart goes to you,
A card, yeah, it's true
But hearts can stop beating,
And mine is alive
Alive, forever with you,
Forever with you.
So take this small key
And unlock a weak heart
Now finding strength within you,
Take this weak heart,
It's alive within you.
Alive, forever with you.

I really liked this poem! The imagrey was great, too! The rhyme schemes a little shakey, but over all it was amazing!

Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I LOVE this poem. Especially the line "take this small key and unlock a weak heart". Beautiful.

I normally don't like anything that has to do with love . . . . . But this poem really got to me! I almost cried and I never cry! I think you should keep writing things like this, it's gorgeous. I loved it. < ^.^ >

Don't ever keep looking on the past. Always look to the future. Don't forget what the past taught you,
but always use it in the future.=)

i really really loved this article. This was really beautiful and if people really really read this, they will be able to understand the true meaning of love. because love never lasts and it will always fade, so then we have to go out and find someone else who loves us for who we are. and i am really inspired by this poem. i love it!!! keep writing and dont ever give up on your dreams and what you believe in. dont ever let anybody tell you what u can and wat u cant do.. keep writing and always have faith=).

"Don't dream it. Be it."
"Singing is praying twice, and dancing is singing with the body."
"Paper is more patient than man."
"Where you live shouldn't determine whether you live"

Beautiful! It really taps in to the meaning of love. I <3 it!
