Love... Or So I Thought
I just wanted to know what that little word means.
I would kill to have that knowledge.
I was so close to understanding,
looking back was I too demanding?

My hands were shaking, my heart was racing
when I got that call I always knew would come
 and then you were gone.

Everything you said made no sense to me.
I was felt like it lasted for eternity

 The sweetest things we lose
like the memory of how you smiled.
Old black and whites I fold away
for some other day.. if it ever comes.

In the static I hear your laugh
above all the rest youll be, for a while longer

I can laugh and carry on
I can break down when everyones gone
because this was love… or so I thought

You were the best there has been
 Ever will be,
Im thinking now, that I should get on
with my life (it was love)
