Raindrops are tears

Raindrops are tears
And the sun is just a smile
All of these years
but only a while
Have we learned
and earned
how to cheer
and walk a mile
wipe away your salty tears
turn your frown into a clown smile
because through your years
you've become worth while
don't you cry
even though your tears
turn seed into grass
because it might not last
without the sun
we are all done
smile so the grass can grow
and you'll never know
how much you show
in the world around us
