CHORUS: What ever happened to slowing down/Just to take a good look around/You’ll be glad to be alive/As I am on this Sunday morning drive
It’s just me and the blacktop road/And the gifts that God bestowed/Watching the clouds float in the sky/Brings a twinkle to my eye

The birds songs high up in the trees/Carry in the gentle breeze/I smile to the sun up high/It’s so perfect I could cry

New blooming flowers and fresh cut grass/If only these moments could forever last/But now the sun is sinking low/As my tires begin to slow
