you smile up at me
begging to be picked
and brought home.
How could I do that to you,
little daisy flower?
How could I shorten YOUR life?
Your life is beautiful
and does not deserve to end.

Very sweet. It certainly brought a smile to my face. I think the only thing I would suggest would be to work on the rhythm a bit.

This was written in the summer before I met you. So it couldn't have been about you. It was about my thoughts and a daisy in the middle of a baseball feild.
