Its like I'm lost in a million-acre field.

I run without a trace and with no proof I am real.

But i'm told I cannot stop, because you're here.

And i can't be another of the million hearts you steal.

So am I running yard by yard, aimlessly, on faultering faith?

Should I even be scared, should i scream when I hear you call my name,

is this a game,

a funhouse,

a show,

is this million-acre field all I'll ever know? <3

Its the edge now. I've found the edge.

But suddenly i cannot leave this place, i can't leave all that I've ever known.

is the unknown so mysteriously beautiful? Or is it a trap, an enticement, waiting for weakened hearts.

Nothing to lose.

and here's where i choose,mystery.

i can always go back, can't i?

And then i'm gone,

the lonely song,

I've known all my life,

fades to silence,

complete reliance,

on something that is gone.

and now.. I'm only lost again.

are we ALWAYS searching?

No wonder hearts break, and people fall, and souls cry out.

Because Life is a million-acre field.
