Hippocrates We All Are, Accept It, Deny It, We've All Tried It.
There's something wrong with the world of today
People using words the wrong way
 Throwing around
 Adjective and nouns
Just to see how they feel, how they sound
Without once thinking what effect it will have to others
Not at all thinking of another
Mind or body that could be hurt by what's said
How long those things could twist and turn in their head
 When really
 Whomever has said the
 Words cannot see
 What they're doing
 To he
 She
 You and me
 They're blind
 Their hearts unkind
 Blocking emotional pain
 Hiding that they're insain
 Afraid of all that's true
 Thinking they're of the few
 That feel this way
When all they need to do is say
 Who they are
 Not point out their scars
 Our cuts, our bruises
Need not be shown need not be used as
 Cries for attention
 Pleas of respect and
 Guidance
For our lost soul and our
 Sore hearts our
 Broken-down minds
From searching for answers, the words to define
 Who we are
 What with every scar
 When, see
 In reality
 Need not we
Search for what isn't meant to be
 And try to see
Who we are not to be
 Through the
Words twisted and turned by the
 Youth of today
And all the words we say
 Without a thought
Of how they've made us fought
 To be accepted
 Rather than rejected
 Ejected
 Dejected
 Still searching for that acceptance
 Guidance
 Another glance
 A second chance
 To explain why
 You only wish to cry
 And how you
 Want to explain to
 Your family
That you need them to see
 Who you are
And how you've come so far
 As to even think
That you could say no to that drink
 Decline that smoke
Telling yourself it'd make you choke
 Becoming this way
 Has made them say
 How you're so good
 "Such a great kid"
 Proving that you could
Fight back instead of just being hid
 When really
 You need them to see
 How you really
 Feel inside, think each day
And ask yourself why you are this way
 Drilling your head
Reminding yourself it's better this way
 Rather than laying dead
Then you ask if that'd be better
Than sitting here writing this letter
 To tell all the others
 What they're doing to oneanother
 How those little things
Stab and bruise, gash and sting
 Causing a constant ringing
 Inside your head
 That only music can mend
Not even when you lay to bed
 Does the sleep lend
 A helping hand
To banish these thoughts from dreamland
 And the next day
All you have to look to
Is those little things pointed at you
Each look given and word they say
With each gash and scar and word unkind
 They've all left you behind

We've all had our smiles and frowns;
Yet some things stick in our heads,
Making our wounds hard to mend.
This is a rap about all of the above and then some.
