Growing up, I thought I'd always be a singer in a studio;
I would find my prince, who had invaded my wildest dreams...
but then one day I fell in love, and though it may not be what I dreamed...
he meant everything to me.
He's what i needed at the moment,
and I realize it now,
with every memory.

The author's comments:
I wrote this song about a really special guy who I completely fell head-over-heels for... My first LOVE, my first real heartbreak... but I don't regret a thing... I wrote this to hopefully send a message out to those who read it, saying, that you're not the only one who has felt this pain...you're not going crazy (like I thought I was)...and life does get better. You are strong enough to "breathe and start over."

it speaks to me! i mean i dated a guy named jacob and we were the cutest couple and we were happy. then one day he was like its over! i was like NO! but i guess its what you want, bye. it killed me but then i seen he didnt love me like i loved him. its really hard to let go! it killed me everyday for like 3 months. i cryed everyday for three months. then brandon came along and made me feel like i did with jacob and now i lost him too. when someone dont want to hold on, you have to let go. for the best...

I really like this! Especially the part about how you can't have a rainbow without rain. Please check out all my work - espcially two pieces called a Hundred Years and A Little Bird which I posted anonymously and then realized how stupid that was.
