Here I am again, back in this same old nightmare.
A host of terrors with no purpose but to scare.
I'm running all the time, trying to escape,
Though I know somewhere inside, you can't outrun fate.

You told me you loved me, now it's dust to dust.
Never want to let you go, but I know I must.
Now I'm waiting, just waiting, for you to give the word.
For me to expect a happy ending would be absurd.

You've become a part of me, now wish I weren't so gullible.
I hear you tell me it's over, feels like you're ripping out my soul.

I'm screaming as loud as I can,
but nobody can hear me, and I know it,
I know I'm going to die.
I'm scratching at the lid and walls,
But I'll never break through, and I know it,
I know I'm buried alive

I was there when you tied my hands and made me see,
The shovel, grave and coffin that I knew were for me.
Gave you everything I had, thought we had more than we did,
And I watched you smile down at me as you closed the lid.

From angel to demon, I swore I knew you.
Well, I guess Satan was beautiful once, too.
How could I let this happen, after everything they said,
After seeing your ex lovers, with eyes so sad and dead.

You fed me all your sick lies, and I ate them up, never
believing my subconcsious, saying soon you'd be gone forever

I'm screaming as loud as I can,
but nobody can hear me, and I know it,
I know I'm going to die.
I'm scratching at the lid and walls,
But I'll never break through, and I know it,
I know I'm buried alive.
I'm struggling as hard as I can,
but I'll never escape, and I know it,
I know I'm going to die.
I'm trying to hold my breath,
but I'll run out of air soon, and I know it,
because I'm buried alive

You've buried me alive, I'm six feet under,
but I'm beginning to wonder now...
Me coming out alive is impossible,
unattainable...
but you leaving was impossible

I was screaming as loud as I could,
but nobody could hear me, now I know it,
I'm know I'm going to survive.
I'm clawing at the lid and walls,
Soon I will break through, and I know it,
I won't die buried alive.
I'm struggling as hard as I can,
Soon I will escape, and I know it.
I know I'm going to survive.
I'm not trying to hold my breath,
because I'll have more air soon, and I know it,
'Cause I'll make it out alive

I turned the tables on you,
This isn't what you're used to.
Never thought I would survive,
Now who's buried alive?
