We Are Fate
I’m a corpse with a smile
Because I gave my heart away
I’m a corpse with a smile
Because I couldn’t live to see another day
It was all so worthwhile
Even though my body’s dead
Cuz I think all the while
I would never do it over again
And who knew dying was so great
And who knew we’d succumb to fate
Although we tried our best to stay alive
What’s mine is yours and yours is mine
I’m a corpse with a smile
Because you gave me your heart too
And even though I tried
To put it right back where my old heart was,
It was too late because
We knew dying was the way
That we’d finally succumb to fate
Although we tried our best to stay alive
What’s mine is yours and yours is mine
I gave you my heart,
And you took it with a grin
But you’re smiling right next to me
Because you couldn’t get it in
So we’re corpses and smiling,
Holding hearts on our sleeves
Because you and I decided
You and I should become we
