Insomnia
Mind is racing, gears are turning
Head feels like it's about to explode
You can't seem to wind down

To many thoughts going through your head
"I know, I know, Gotta to go bed" You said
You can't seem to fall asleep, to many images keeping you awake

Maybe it's the exam the next day
Maybe your crush sitting not to far away
Maybe it's your dreams or fears
Maybe you're to full of tears

You stare up at the ceiling, thinking to yourself
 How will I do?
 What will I say?
 Will I live another day?
In the end, I'll be OK

You sit at the window, counting the stars
 Wondering how many there are
Millions, Billions, Trillions and much more
 Why can't I sleep anymore?

Maybe it's the exam the next day
Maybe your crush sitting not to far away
Maybe it's your dreams or fears
Maybe you're to full of tears

You stare up at the ceiling, thinking to yourself
 How will I do?
 What will I say?
 Will I live another day?
In the end, I'll be OK

By the time you're old, 90s or more
We'll think to yourself, "look how far I've come!"
As you lay down in our bed to sleep
You pray the lord your soul to keep
