Twas not my lips you kissed but my soul.

lost in a world so hollow, and i trust its not something i should follow. through the deception and deceit, our souls were never complete. you tell me to dance in the rain, how can i when its really acid, that burns and beer's me pain. hunger growls in your stomach like a panther in a cage, you wish for more wealth and less age. is this what we've become? with these murder songs we hum. its not right its not fair, yet you keep pushing like its a dare. my heart has a pair of eyes, and when it looks about fear is what it cries. don't temp me devil, don't ask for more, I'm closer to the edge than I've ever been before.
