Friend
A friend is someone to the movies with,
to laugh hysterically with,
to share your deepest darkest secrets with,
and is someone you just want to be with.
A friend is like an on-going encyclopedia;
with so many chapters, so many pages.
Some days you might read a chapter or two, other days sometimes no chapters at all,
and other times the book will talk but you won’t listen.
A friend is someone who listens to your problems,
gives you advice, when the going gets tough.
But when your friend wants advice back, when their going gets tough,
do you give it? Or are your friends there just to give it to you?
