A Broken Tune

Once I had a dream,
I hoped it would come true,
But like the moon and stars,
It faded with the morning dew.
Now it's just a memory
Of what could never be,
But this broken dream,
It just won't let me see:
The sun outshines the stars,
It's brighter than the moon;
I know another dream will come,
But till then my heart sings its broken tune:
Once i had a dream,
Now tears fill my eyes
And with this broken dream,
My breaking heart will die.
Give me back my dream,
Let me hope it will come true-
I'll fix my broken heart,
And give it back to you.
