Learnt to Breathe
I still remember you when you’ve long forgotten me
I fall asleep every night listening to my numb heartbeats
You’re so far away but it seems like you still abide in me
You’re painful presence that lingers here just can’t describe how it feels
And now,
I promise all those teardrops I’ve shaded from my eyes
I’ll take them back and let it all dry
Break me down, tear me apart
But I swear to rise up and take to the sky
You’re memories lay here right under these dusts
They infect every feeling and make them fall apart
Those little pieces are small to gather, but
Big enough to cut me down
So, I bleed, holding my jar of hearts
And now,
I promise the blood I bled under the rain
I’ll make them flow once again in my vein
But I won’t forget to neutralize the poisonous pain
Go, rush, run, and hide
This time you can’t break me down
You can’t escape the cry of gale that will blow
Scream now, scream at me
But this time I won’t be broken
No matter how hard you try
You can’t play with my tears that are soaking
I’ve learnt to breathe. Yeah! I’m breathing again.
And now,
I promise all those teardrops I’ve shaded from my eyes
I’ll take them back and let it all dry
Break me down, tear me apart
But I swear to rise up and take to the sky
So now, yeah
I promise the blood I bled under the rain
I’ll make them flow once again in my vein
But I won’t forget to neutralize the poisonous pain
I’ve learnt to breathe. Yeah! I’m breathing again.
