I come from a small town
I come from a sad town
I'll come to a bigger place
I'll come to a better place
On the way there
I'll run into a bear
He'll try and eat me out
But he will help me get out
of

my small town
my small town
help me up
help me out
my lost self
my lost self
gotta leave
gonna leave

I come from a crowded home
I come from a burdened home
I'll come to a new world
I'll become a whole new girl
On the way
I'll meet a boy
He'll try to win my heart
and he will win my heart
by coming to

my small town
my small town
help me up
help me out
my lost self
my lost self
gotta leave
gonna leave

and when i get there,
just remember I'm from
a small town

The author's comments:
I'm not from a small town really. It's metaphoric for a girl who i shy and small and wants to leave her old self as she becomes someone new. She sings the song as what will happen as she grows out of her shell.

This is simple but yet so powerful and effective. I really enjoyed reading this! Keep going! :D
