Tragedy... has torn me down
Dragging me.. to the ground
Misery... is eating me away
Killing me slowly.. every day
And I embrace it
And I take it all in
And I just face it
Only to be shot down.. Time and time again

Oh December rain
Won't you ease my pain
As you flow through the wounds of yesterday
Oh December rain
Won't you cleanse the stain
That has lingered since last May

December rain...... Are you listening?
December rain...... Could you do something?
Wash away my sorrow
Wash away my fear
Help me blossom tomorrow
Help me grow into the year
December rain...... It's too soon to part
December rain...... Give me a fresh start
This pain is killing me fast...
Flood me out my tomb, old friend
Free me from my past
And let me bloom again
December rain...... Do you hear me yet?
December rain...... I'll be in your debt

Oh December rain
Won't you ease my pain
As you flow through the wounds of yesterday
Oh December rain
Won't you cleanse the stain
That has lingered since last May

I don't want to feel this anymore
Why is this not done yet?
I can still sense the sore
I can still see the unrest
December rain...
Why have you betrayed me?
You've only strengthened my pain
Now I've grown to forsake thee
December rain...
Just leave me alone
Lest you'd have me slain
Let me tend to my soul

Tragedy... has torn me down
Dragging me.. to the ground
Misery... is eating me away
Killing me slowly.. every day
And I embrace it
And I take it all in
And I just face it
Only to be shot down.. Time and time again
